Project Goals 

• Arrangement of the ecological problems 
• Unloading  of the central part of the  city 
• Integration of the city that was artificially divided by the railway  
• Synchronous development of the  city   
• Creation of workplaces  

Bypass Project of the Railway

• Rail line will go out of the city via Tbilisi Sea 
• As a result we will avoid: 

1. Ecological problems 
2. Division of the city into two parts  

The  Railway Area Emptied after the Realization of the Project 

• 100 hectares of the land will be emptied from Didube railway station till Samgori 
• Elia, Chughureti and Kukia will be directly connected with the city center 
• The emptied territory will get the function of the modern  center

Project Cost 

• The total cost of the bypass railway  line  is 280 Euros, the share of the bank of  the reconstruction and development of Europe is 100 million Euros -March  
• Investment Bank of Europe 100 million Euros -April 
•  Railway of Georgia -80 million Euros

Terms of Project Implementation 

• The bypass railroad project implementation will be launched in April and will be completed in 3 years,  development of the empties territory will take 5-10 years.
